Job Purpose:
- Create complex shaders, VFX as well as 3D assets required for the project.
- Develop new tools and techniques to optimize and improve the production pipelines.
- Work closely with the VFX Team, 3D Team, and other departments and assist in quality review.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Set up the lighting and post-processing in Unreal Engine including (AO, Fog, DoF, Antialiasing, Bloom etc...).
- Create high-quality VFX and shaders based on the art direction, technical constraints and deadlines.
- Create scripts and tools with programming languages (C++, C#, HLSL, MaxScript).
- Create technical documentations and pipelines and share them with the team.
- Work closely with the R&D Team, and be the communication bridge between 3D Art team and Programmers to develop new tools and techniques required for the project.
- Actively follow-up the project by giving feedback, proposing quality improvements and optimizing work processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and pipelines issues then provide solutions and solve them.
