Your role will be to plan, organize, mentor, hands-on review and evaluate the 3D Character Team. You will have to deliver high-quality assets in accordance to the requirements of the project. You will work closely with the art lead and producer to define the needs for the project and setup the development pipelines and processes for your team.
- Setup and document the 3D development pipelines and processes of the projects.
- Mentor 3D Character Artists by providing artistic and technical training, guidance and feedback.
- Ensure your team respects the art direction, technical constraints & production deadlines.
- Ensure the 3D assets are correctly implemented in game and meet the quality standards.
- Manage the deadlines and quality assets delivered by the artists.
- Actively join the project meetings and participate to the constant improvement of the project.
- Maintain an efficient collaboration between your team and other departments
- Evaluate the performance of the 3D Character Artists.
- Review the 3D tests and interview the potential candidates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tech and tools that help improve the 3D character creation pipeline.
