#Armistice2018 Bundles
This is the second year that Gameloft’s strategic military games and War Child UK have joined forces. Like last year, the two games are selling special #Armistice2018 bundles, all proceeds of which are donated to the charity. Back in 2017, the combined total raised was a whopping €24,281 – but we want to do even more this year.
The Armistice Bundles are focused on non-aggressive items. These help you with defense, research, and expansion, rather than open warfare. Resources, attack shields, and in-game currency are just some of the items included in both bundles. You can purchase these in either game between now and November 16th with 100% of the net proceeds being donated to the charity.
Helping the children of war
War Child UK does amazing work to help young people in areas affected by war. Its goal is simple, to help children and families in conflict zones access the tools needed for a productive future. This doesn’t simply mean immediate relief. The help offered by the charity includes long-term education, the creation of safe spaces, and advocating for children to be at the center of all humanitarian relief efforts.
In 2017, War Child UK worked in countries such as Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central African Republic, helping support 47, 929 former child soldiers and provided temporary learning spaces for 41,000 children from Mosul. But the charities work is far from done. War Child hopes to have helped 260,000 children by 2019 – a goal Gameloft is proud to be able to contribute towards.
You can purchase the #Armistice2018 Bundles now in March of Empires and War Planet Online. Help War Child UK bring support to young people in the areas that need it most.
