Even more gamers can now battle to become the ruler of Gameloft’s medieval strategy title, March of Empires, as it enters an age of Steam. With the game available on Valve’s PC distribution platform, the MoE team is happy to welcome players from this new Realm.

An age of war and intrigue

Steam users, welcome to March of Empires - a medieval MMO strategy game that invites you to become a Knight, Tsar, or Sultan. Enter a brutal Realm filled with other player-leaders, and use your strategy, might, and guile to elevate yourself to Emperor.

Start from the bottom, building your city up from small farms and mills. These provide the Resources you need to create more developed structures such as Temples and markets, which in turn earn you the silver you need to develop your military.

Invest in barracks, train a range of different troops and units, then take your armies out to make your mark in the Realm. Select a Hero to lead your armies in this advance. These powerful warriors can offer buffs in resource production and inspire your soldiers to greater feats in battle.

A dangerous Alliance

No single warrior can rule the world. Form powerful Alliances with other player-rulers. Work with these other players, combine your armies, and crush other rulers in Clan Vs Clan combat.  Build your strength, and earn your place on the Throne of Might and position the right-hand members of your Alliance on the Seats of Power as you dominate the rest of your Realm.

Or, if you prefer a more… subtle rise to prominence, then use Spies from the Dungeon to infiltrate and weaken your enemies from within.

Begin your climb to the throne in March of Empires, now, on Steam (also available on iOS, Android, and Windows). If you need help building your alliance from the experienced MoE community, then join them on Facebook and YouTube.
