The Blue Finals report

The Blue Finals bracket saw the 2EZ4U and Euphoria INC competing for a $200 prize pool and custom camo. After a grueling series that saw both sides go through hard fought battles to move through the quarter and semi-final brackets, the teams finally met in a best three-out-of-five match.

It was a fraught contest, going down to the fifth game. And what a final conflict it was. Playing on the Conversion map the two teams went back-and-forth with scores neck-and-neck throughout. It came right down to the wire, with a result determined by the seven minute timer running out with Brazil based Euphoria INC just 1 kill in the lead.

You can see the final game below or on YouTube. There is also the full breakdown of the Blue bracket over on the ESL site.

The Red Finals report

Battling for a €200 prize pool and camo in the Red Final were PannicK and AoeXe. This was a far more decisive competition. After a tense opening match that saw AoeXe just edging out the win, PannicK hit back hard.

Winning three games in fast succession the German based Pannick really dominated, eventually winning with a 3:1 lead.

The final game in this pairing saw the victors actually slipping, with AoeXe picking up some early kills. This didn’t last long however, with Pannick starting to make good use of grenades and mobility to push back hard, finally closing the match with a win of 50:29!
